Here's a silly question...does anyone know how often the site updates? It seems like its once an hour but its a bit irregular. No real reason for wanting to know...just curious. :) |

The score updates one hour and two minutes. The two min. is the operational laps. The comments are posted real time. |

You can figure (as a guideline anyway) that your score will update about 1 hour and 5 minutes from when it last updated.
This will change throughout the week though. Seems that every once in a while you will suddenly update about 45-50 minutes from when you last updated, then you get back on the 1 hour and 5 minute schedule again.
Or at least thats been my observation. Perhaps an admin or moderater could spell it out a little more exactly. |

The script runs exactly 60 minutes after the last user's results are cached. This can take up to a minute or two to run all of them, and your cached file may not be generated in the same order as it was last time -- which is why your updates appear not exactly 60 minutes. If it jumps by something like 5 minutes, it's probably because the first attempt at caching the files timed out -- it's a pretty cpu-intensive operation, and that's why we went to the hourly caching anway. As aelith said, the comments are still real-time.
