I screwed the entry by not really understanding it.

Same as before, hide a person in your otherwise person-less photo.
Edit for the bold on less

I am heading for my lowest score ever... It's an average pic that does not meet the challenge.
Scoring is reflecting perfectly my point.

So! Pay attention to the description of the challenge before you submit!
Special attention required from the English non-native speakers. Sad... but a cold shower is sometimes required!

No worries, we all get 4's every now and then :D

Just remember you have the capability of getting 7 next time (judging from your folio). Which will cancel it out.

Thanks a lot. I doubt I can do a 7.
Not that the camera makes the photo better but my Canon A70 failed my and I am back to my Founder PhotoPower 245T that's a 1.3 almost web camera

5.3ish after 70 votes, pretty surprised, it was a pretty weak picture that I submitted so I could at least claim to have entered a challenge, the person wasn't well hidden (deliberately to a certain extent as a I wanted a waldo-ness to the person) but I could easily get marked down on it, and it wasn't much good for getting corresponding high marks from those who didn't, if I can keep up 5, I'll be a happy bunny.

I'm doing 5.15 right now.. it's up from 4.6 last night.

I was hoping for a 5.5.. but eh.

It's probably due to two main factors, which I can't say here because it'd pretty much give away the entry.

You say it. Just before submitting on Tuesday, I realized that my person wasn't really hidden...I could have done so really easily, there were quite some hiding places in my picture. Unfortunately there was no way to reshoot, due to the deadline :(

The score is lower than I had hoped for, perhaps because I did not hide the person all too well, just made it not the center of the composition, but I got 2 favorites already, so I am pretty happy!

Personally, I think there are a lot of entries that are very good. Conversely, there are a lot that are just candids where someones interpretation is simply to take a photo that has a person in it somewhere - which I personally don't feel meets the intent or spirit of the challenge. There are three in which I couldn't find Waldo at all (I pm'd the photographers and will adjust my score if they answer back and can tell me where Waldo is), and quite a few that contain multiple people in the image. I thought the challenge was quite clear on that but maybe there is a language barrier at work here.

Overall, I found this to be a very enjoyable challenge to judge because of the clever ideas some people had.
