Well, try this...
Firefox speedup
and you'll see it going real lightning fast! Just try a full "Deja Vu" show full results or something similar and you'll notice the difference. It'll load faster than you can scroll down!

Enjoy,
Carlos.

PS: dont' you all try at the very same time or you'll bring the DPC server to its knees!!

Yowza! That's unreal! This delay is the only thing that has kept me from firefoxing 100% of the time. Thanx, pal.

I just tried it and it's pretty fast, but loads of websites look pretty bad in it. Any way to speed up IE, even just a little bit, by letting it download more at once? I'm on a 2mbit connection but it takes so long to loads pages with lots of images as it does them all 1 by 1. Sucky.

who cares how they look as long as they load? man, speed is everything in the digital age. jejeje™

oh wow that is REALLY fast. Probably faster than IE now -- I wouldn't even use firefox before because it was always slower. Thanks for the tip.

Sorry Ben, nothing for IE here! I'm running Firefox on Linux FC2 ;-)

What I find strange is that "loads of websites look pretty bad". I cannot run IE, but found very few sites which don't load properly on Firefox. Actually, I don't care about them! ;-)

You can always use the "load in IE" (I think it's called like this) plugin for firefox and shift to first gear in those special cases.

Also, I'm on a 512KB link and really noticed the speed increase.

Holy cow! I installed Firefox just to test this out, before and after the tweak. Looks like I'll be using FF much more now, thanks for the tip :)

Images load noticeably quicker but clicking my scroll wheel (mouse button 3) and mousing up or down to scroll is much slower than IE.

Nor mine, lol, they're the only 2 I checked so 100% of sites don't work under firefox... that's poor! :P
