I think it should have been in the top 3

This photo placed 10th! Nothing to sneeze at. (Good job, karmat!)

psychelphylax: what would you like to discuss about it?
I think it has a good emotional meaning, and the angle and composition is good.....

I love how it meets the challenge without it being very obvious...A subtle well executed photo that is also very aesthetic...

I gave this shot a 9 and really expected it to do quite well. I think it's a great shot and personally I like it better than the top 3 combined (which all got 5s from me).

What did you think was average about any of the top 3? (just curious).

Karmat's picture was one of my two favorites. Thought its content was very powerful and compelling. Good composition and everything built on to the emotional impact. Well done, Karmat!

I really enjoyed the shot, and really believe that it does belong in the top ten. There was some tough comptetion there though and a couple that finished higher had slightly higher scores for me.

*karmat is blushing at all of the overwhelming praise*

Thanks guys. I am truly happy to be at 10th. I was pleased with the picture, as it actually looked like i wanted it to look. That doesn't happen often.

Thanks again!

Karmat, that photo was one of the few tens I gave...maybe the only one. I loved it...LOVED it...it was perfect.
