Nice. I got myself the same lens for Christmas, along with a 50mm F/1.4, a 70-200mm F/2.8L (non IS), EOS 20D, and a EOS Rebel T2. Way to start the new year in debt.

Cheers!

Nothing, me and Pete both. We need to get some work to pay for all the money we already spent on ourselves during the year.

It's more fun doing it that way round anyway, I think. And yes, I really do mean it!

I'm not expecting lots of presents this year because I asked all those who normally get me presents to consider instead buying one of my charity prints (and keeping it for themselves or giving it as a present to someone else). The money will go to charity but I'm thrilled at their support for a project that's important to me. Several have so far let me know they're going to do that so I'm really happy not to be getting lots of presents this Xmas.

Who needs more bubble bath and chocolate, anyway?
