Yesterday I posted a photo of my dog Jet that passed a few days ago. The comments and condolences were very helpful in dealing with void in our lives.

I have had dogs all of my fifty four years. I will take the same advice that my parents gave in regards to dogs and that is to fill the void as soon as possible and take another dog into our lives. So, my wife and I intend to regroup and search for that special friend, not to replace Jet, but to carry on the long legacy of those that have gone before. The emotion that a dog brings out in people is special and to some extent nessesary to reconfirm our humanity.
