Hi, can someone please explain to me how to calibrate a monitor? The reason I ask is that I packed up my computer and monitor to take back to college and am using my parents' HP. It doesn't have a dedicated video card and I have noticed that pictures look different colorwise from my monitor. The monitor is an HP pavilion mx50, I'm pretty sure the computer doesn't have a dedicated video card. I adjusted my image for the pencil challenge on this monitor, but I'm worried that while it looks fine here, it most likely doesn't elsewhere. Any suggestions? Thanks

On my computer I found the Gamma settings in "My Computer," "Control Panel," "Adobe Gamma"

I have an icon that says Intel graphics technology. It has gamma, brightness and contrast controls, so I guess that's it

Thanks for the help, I think I got it roughly calibrated using a different method, I adjusted the red and green levels until one of my pictures that looked bad on this monitor looked as it had on my own monitor.
