I have had some sad scores as of late in the challenges so I bought a couple of books and took a break from DPC. To learn how to use my camera a bit better. I feel that I may now be ready for more DPC. I was hoping a few of you might be willing to look into my portfolio and give me your critique.

You are off to a nice start with you portfolio images. Challenges can be difficult because they require you to attempt things that may be outside your usual area of photographic interest, but that is the goal. Don't worry about the scores, use DPC as an fun way to post your photos and get feedback from other photographers. I believe the focus of dpc is to challenge photographers with different topics as a motivation to keep shooting and learning. The contest adds structure and makes things a little more interesting, but don't take it too seriously.

Hello there.. i had a look at your portfolio and I think it's great, particularly the landscape shots. The one showing the trees in fall had abit too much sky for my liking but the colours were great, so don't be discouraged.

negative ones are the best if they consist of more usefull information than "You Suck". Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to look these over for me.
