Understanding that the best way to learn is to take shot after shot after shot after shot, are there are books out there that you would recommend to assist in the learning curve for my new baby?

I have the D70 ebook by Peter iNova. It´s a nice book 372 pages which goes through every camera functions and tips about using them. Also some education and exercises about catching images. It teaches also many tricks about really improving pictures in Photoshop.

Small tips. I have one 22months old boy and allready have 25gigs of pictures on my hard drive and he´s probably on most of them, so my advise to you is not take all pictures in raw ( you would sit in front of your computer almost every night).

Also read what Ken (//www.kenrockwell.com/tech.htm) has to say about raw format. It´s very fun to read his comparison on d70 and other dslr on the market (Just fun if you own d70). He also gives you clear image about what Photagraping is all about.
