I have a simple question for you. Why is it that every week there's about 10 photos of flowers? Even in the corporate challenge. Flowers. Flowers flowers flowers everywhere. People see this, and still take pictures of flowers!
What about babies? Babies everywhere as well! Even on unrelated challenges, people think that it's a good idea to take a snapshot of their 3 year old holding an icecream.
Why don't you make a challenge especially for flowers and babies so people can get it off their chests?

We all have to work with what we have to hand and what inspires us to take pictures.
I can understand your frustration but I dont think you're going to stop this happenning and nor should you. We're here to learn how to take better photographs. We can learn those skills just as well by taking pictures of flowers, babies and cats. And in many cases people want to improve their photography so that they can take better pictures of flowers, babies and cats.
Just because the subject of a photo is something we've seen before doesnt mean that it's not possible to produce something different with the picture. For example, getting old from the Something Old challenge - was a superb picture. It didnt score as well I would have liked though.
