Ok, as some of you know, I'm mid-move. I had a few ideas, but I thought I'd share one with everyone - maybe someone is idea-less and will use it.

I thought of having the top of a person's arm appear "as" the bridge (closer to the cam, bridge in the bg, so it looks like cars are traveling on the person's arm and the bridge structure is attached to the arm) and pointing to one end ...I wish I could explain better, but maybe someone can figure out what I'm saying or go from there.

I don't see a lot of "ideas" about the current challenge posted on here, so if I'm breaking some kind of social rule or whatever, my bad in advance. In my mind it's a good idea...and I just don't have means this week.

I can see that being a metaphorical statement where the arm is the bridge from the current/old residence to the new one.
One idea I was wondering if anyone was going to do (though I don't think it would score especially well given how well some people might understand it, would be to shoot a photograph of the "bridge" in a piece of music. I can't honestly recall what part of a musical work that is, but I know such a thing exists.

I wanted to take a picture of this old bridge that was destroyed in a flood, then title it "Abridged", but the paths to it were all covered over with snow, or flooded out by the river. Oh well.

One of the photos I considered (I didn't do this one, BTW) was of a highway overpass. There is an interchange with I-70 and I-695, along with one or two local roads, near Baltimore. The total interchange is 4 overpasses stacked upon one another, and I was viewing that as a statement of urban overdevelopment. As one of the bridges in this stack is Security Boulevard, I was going to call the photo "High Security."

I couldn't help but think that a pic of some old ladies playing bridge around a table would be cool...metaphorical of them connecting, etc.

Too bad I don't have a bunch of "tea-party" ladies at my disposal :)

I don't think you'd even need the metaphore there - the game would be the 'Bridge' in the photo.
I was thinking, both from comments made in this and other threads, that a creative shot of a pool bridge (that long cue with the metal thing on the end) would be useful - maybe even metaphorical of a bridge being used to extend one's reach. Again, this is not my submission.

One I thought of doing would have been a macro shot of a motherboard. A shot of the chip labled "southbridge" on some motherboards. With some ccol lighting it could be pulled off. But I went with something else.
