If you like, I'd appreciate your comments on this shot (you can comment on Photosig - would be appreciated too) Let me know what you would have done better, differently, anything to improve this shot.

Nathalie you did a great job, there is one problem, if one have to scroll to see some part of the pic he could not see the whole frame.
I suggest to resize to the screen dimensions. Again the pic is great i gave it 3 thumbs.

Great picture. I would like to see it in black and white or in a blueish duotone if you want to keep the cold blueish feeling. The one thing I don't like, but it's not your fault, is the backlighting. I would have liked to be able to see texture and detail on the trees. Stil, then you wouldn't have had the sky. The tone, exposure, and composition are all good. Nice job.

Thanks for your comment. rll07 I like your cropping. I prefer the original tones of the picture better than black and white but the cropping is better in yours. Thanks

P.S. I can see the whole picture in the creen. Maybe your sscreen is set to 640X480??? Mine is like 1152X868. What is everybody screen resolution?

My res is 1280 x 1024 and I can see all of it but just barely. Usually what people do is, when posting pictures on PBase, etc., they keep the original picture on their computer and upload a 720 x ??? pixel picture instead to view on the service. This does a couple things: 1) Creates a "standard" sized pic for people to see and 2) Prevents others from stealing good pictures since the detail is too little to do anything with it.

But I really like your picture. I like the contrast of the dark trees against the light sky. Try the B&W like the other poster suggested it might work well with this picture.

I like the photo in general, but I don't see how the silo adds anything to the photo. If anything, it detracts. Just my opinion (and maybe not a humble one).

The high tension power lines in the background detract from the image. They are too suttle, that they seem almost unintentional and detract from the image.

This is my first ever critique of a digital photo, so take it with a grain of salt :)
