This cat had addopted my parents lately.
I'd appreciate any opinions, critiques and suggestions!

Thank you

Herlo, I prefer the second one. Good perspective, it feels like I'm a mouse, and the cat is nicely in focus. My cat is so hard to capture. She keeps moving about. Anyway, I feel the background is a bit too busy but that's just me being annoying again. The first picture I don't like as much, simply because the cat's face gets lost in the background and the grass. It doesn't stand out enough because there isn't enough tonal range. It's ear is too white as well, but I think the splash of colour in the eye is neat. I really should submit more photos...hope I haven't said anything too harsh!

Prefer the second to the first...although I get the sneaky suspicion you worked on an like the first better...

Darn it if I haven't been there too...

The second is the better image...

I prefer the second one. My opinion of really blurry pictures is weird - it does something to my eyes and really seems unattractive to me.

Not to take anything about away from you on this thread, but I also have a cat that maybe you might want to critique, I just took it yesterday.

The second is really good, Groucho the fat cat approves!

I like them both, but I think the first has great potential. I like what you did with it, but feel just a tad more contrast (give it some true blacks) and a tad less soft focus would be an improvement.

Edit:
ALso maybe consider a slightly tighter crop on the bottom, putting the eye at the intersection of the right and bottom "thirds" lines.

I like second one. It gets you into the image, as closethefridge said, you feel like the mouse. I really like the reflection of the grass and the green eyes and then grays. Perhaps a square crop would remove some distractions in the back and make it even more dynamic.

I like the second one better. The first one is good but looks wild. I see your cat is playful, mine is just lazy.

Nice pictures, I like the second one. My cat is always moving, hard to get a clear picture.

Thank you all!! I liked your comments and I will try to work on the pics according.

When she first arrived to my parent's garden, she was wild and moved a lot. But she kinda got used to the people and now she stays and waits for her food calmly. She is a street cat. She doesn't live in the house and she doesn't want to actually... She just addopted my parents' back yard and comes every day to get her food and then she leaves. Even in the hardest rain she wouldn't stay longer. I don't really know why...
