| i'm currently 17 and a fairly accomplished photographer. you can see sample works online that i posted about a year ago--right after i got my new camera: //www.digitalduckydesigns.com/darkangel/darkangel.htm ; i just recently had the thought, "wait a second, i'm about to turn 18. once i'm eighteen i bet there are a bunch of contests that i'm not eligible to enter any more. i should find them and enter!" so... if anybody would care to tip me off to some, i think it's worth the effort on my part to try and get some recognition and maybe some money too. |

i gotta find ones like konador always does, where he wind 1000 dollars worth of photo equipment, and cameras and what not.

| Hehehe, well by the looks of it Harrison you don't need the extra photo equipment... someone is already taking good care of that for you. How did you talk your parents into the 20D anyway!! (Or was that the product of summer job after summer job). |

also i wish i could compette but i'm not 18 yet theres a contest for amiture photogs. bolth digital and non that national geo. has running it doesn't end till alittle while into 2005 (like feb.).
GL in what ever u enter
by the way the national geo. 1 would be a great way to get your name out there, since the work with lots of othere great resorces when it comes to photography.

That wasn't an under 18 competition, that was open to anyone in the country. I just found it on the BBC website :)

Hey, Ben, which image was it. Is there a thread where I can read about the competition you entered? Just curious. I remember reading about your something about your big win but would love to hear how it all happened. Thanks.
