Thanks Skip...I sure did miss the sunrise since I was inside a store (along with about 2/3 the population of my town), watching people fight over the last portable DVD player and the last Spiderman vs. Doc Oc action figure set. LOL ;o)

Skip, we're going to have to talk here . . . you can't be doing this to me. You are messing up morning philosophy here where I'll never be able to sleep again!! LOL
THese are truly stunning shots - especially the last one. It would make a spectacular print. It is pure artistry.

I drive my wife insane. She hates that i will wake up as early as 4:30 to go shoot a sunrise somewhere. |

I am so glad that I found this site! I am a total newbie here and have been having fun doing submissions for the current challenges of Humor, Low Tech.
I went to school for fine art and had a couple of black and white photography classes with Mahler Ryder at Rhode Island COllege.
I recently bought a Nikon Cool Pix for my auctions on eBay, so I could take much better pictures of the things that put up for auction. But I found the camera was just sitting there most of the time. So finding this site has inspired me to do some more with it. I am still trying to figure out all the "bells and whistles" of this new camera. But am having fun doing it. |

thank you all for your comments!!! for me, this is what it is all about, sharing and growing, and it would really be hard without having such a great community!
and, really, kylie, you're welcome to come over anytime...just keep in mind, the sunrises a lot later this time of year than summer... |
