I don't know how to do this, I no longer wanna be a part of this site, so if any SC is reading and can help please remove my account, I don't request any money back or anything.

Thank you.

You'll need to contact the admins for that. It's under the Help menu.

Maybe tomorrow I will feel the same but right now I'm verry angry because every time I try to say something someone comes and corrects lectures me on bad behaviour. So I will let you all enjoy your happy lifes and not bother with my pressence. Cause that's how I feel my presence constantly bothers someone. I can't help being honest with what I think weather that's nice or not so nice I must say it, constantly.

frumoaznicul --

You have been selected by other users 39 times as one of their favorite photographers, and your photographs have been selected 69 times as favorites. I'm sorry you have hurt feelings and hope you don't leave.

My photographs have been selected 145 times actualy but I deleted my portfolio. I already I am sorry and I feel I totaly disrespected those people. But I decided to stay, I will just never post in the forums anymore, this really is my last, from now on on this site I will only speak thru my images.

Sorry to see you go... I hope you change your mind and not let others opinions bother you so as they are just opinions after all. ;-)

Hey. Just send all your pm's to a yahoo account and read them once a week. I think this site needs some forthwright people like you. ***And we can help you by constantly correcting your english. There's something for everyone here. Don't you just love it?
***editor's note: this is a feeble attempt at sarcasm

That's a good idea. I've come to the conclusion that most topics(bar specific photo critiques, what is your current score, hardware reviews..) can turn into a huge mess and degenerate into a typical BBS which of course can lead to disagreements/arguments etc. Your photos are great. Don't leave because of the forums... This is a photography website after all. :D

for some of these people who are so passionate about DPC to care SOooooooooooo much about anonymity, are awfully quick to say "boo hoo I quit, look at me im quitting" i dont get why some of you care so much about what someone thinks about your comments...you cant please everyone all the time...maybe some of you are not so nice in your critiques and are quick to say "you suck" in the nicest possible way...but after dealing with this myslef...ive learned who cares, ill take the good with the bad and ignore those who got major social issues

in summary "take a chill pill"

also anyone can PM me for whatever reason anytime, i wont lash out i promise

dont get discouraged cristi. reasonable communication within a community as large as dpc is almost an art unto itself. you certainly won't please everyone, and will probably run into people that will never be pleased--just like in life. :) but that is ok. we learn to live with other's differences and accept them. posting to the forums does involve a certain amount of risk, because for every person who agrees with you, there is certain to be one who does not. which is fine, it keeps us going. maybe take a short break from posting to the forums for a bit if you want, but certainly dont give up on dpc--this is a great community and you have a lot of talent to offer us. :)

I don't know why everyone takes everything so personally
- this is the web with no consequences for what you say or do, so people seem to either
a) don't give a SH** and say what eva they wanna
b) take there anger out in the post
c) are misunderstood cause of the lack of sign language
d) get carried away with there comments
e) tired
f) unaware of the other persons feelings

so yeh ...
don't worry and ignore the comments and move on

riotspyne, didn't you have a rough welcome when you first came to the site? Didn't you throw a "I'm quitting" party at that time? Everyone gets upset from time to time and should feel that they can try to communicate that frustration in the forums without being mocked.

if you read my post you would see that i said "but after dealing with this myself" and NO i never said i was quitting
i said that some comments on my photos could have been commented on nicely and not rudely and mocking me in the process and that was just one person, which brings me back to the point of my post......just learn to deal with the people...everyone is not nice on here..and thats all there is to it...BLAH

and arent you Mr. memory man...but thanks for asking

Observation:

This could make you feel like you're one of those little ducks going back and forth in the shooting gallery just waiting for someone to smack you!

If you look for the bad in something, you surely will find it.

Why would someone want to participate in a site like this anyhow? For me, I figured I might throw in a few photos and see whether anyone would agree whether or not I have a talent for photography. Some do and some dont. Maybe I'll learn some new things and get some ideas from others. Maybe I'll bump into someone who shares the same interests, I might start up a friendship and if not, so be it. My decision to join this site was motivated by a joy to take pictures and share my perspective within a community but also being mindful that others may not subscribe to my taste. Oddly life seems to work in the same way. The DPC membership is incredibly diverse and rather than focusing on the bad, consider a focus on the good and you may rediscover why you are here in the first place. After all, this is about our love for photography and sharing that with a broad spectrum of people who share a common interest. isn't it?

Okay......time for a group hug.
