Hi my name is Jason...

and I um... I am addicted to watching my rating.
Wow that feels great to finally get off my chest.
I know its shallow to be so attached to the numbers (especially when there so low!) but at times I can't help it.

It's like pouring your heart out and waiting to see how everbody reacts.

Is there anyone else out there that feels the same?

Edited for my poor spelling

(crowd) Hi Jason.

I just want to say openly that I can stop at any time. I just choose to check frequently so that I'm appraised of any important comments which would help me adjust my photographic style in real-time.

Me thinks "De Nile" is not just a river in Egypt

Er, uh... What are you talking about?

I don't have a problem, never did...

God, grant me
The serenity to accept the points I cannot change,
Courage to accept the comments that have been made, and
Ability to score better the next time!

i hear you, i just submitted my first pic and just did it for the heck of it - i never realized how much the score would mean to me, or how many people would judge my photograph. yikes, next time I will put more effort into it!

As a non-member you get the score update every hour. If you became a paying member you get an update button that would allow you to get your score whenever you pressed the button. That is even more addictive!

Enjoy, enjoy. Now, there is a danger that these figures will cement to your psyche and then you will not be able to untangle yourself. This will make your photography suffer as well as evrything else you would be doing if it weren't for these numbers.

True -- my husband just can't understand why I paid $20 so I could check the score every minute instead of every hour. At least, I think he's still my husband......

I just went to check. The hubby is still there. He said to tell ya'll that he's also confused about why I would get up in the middle of the night to check my score. Especially when I know I'm nowhere close to a ribbon. Didn't know how to answer that one!
