My outtakes for Something Old are HERE

I wonder if any of the others would have done better. In fact, I bet most of these would have. I was REALLY hooked on my submission, though. Hindsight is always 20/20 they say.

I liked four.jpg the best.

But that's just me :)

I think I liked two and eight the best, but also four and seven; I'd like seven more if the sign was in the back and more vertical.

I had one outtake in two versions, color and grayscale.

Not complaining about my placement....happy to be below 100. But do any of you think this one would have done any better?

Lennier, I liked number 4 the best.
General...I loved both of those...but I'm leaning towards the color version more....very nice colors.
cq, the violin was a beautiful shot. ;)

Here are my outtakes. There are 3 albums.

p.s. I´m traveling around Europe and I´m in Prague right now. It´s raining like hell. I will probably go to Budapest or Italy tomorrow.

I think the sewing machine would have done really well. I know I would have given it a 10. The panoramic of the women and the sheep is unbelievable. Great outtakes, Arni.

I like "Age Final 00009" better then "From birth to..." because I can see the rings better and the lighting is better.

KD, I thought your pic was awesome. It was one of my top 10 because of its simplicity and how "to the point" it was ... it was actually quiet funny (and I don't mean this in a bad way) because it was so perfectly centered and right in your face: A/C! I remember it made me laugh and it fit the challenge with a perfect composition and good exposure so I gave it a high score.
I liked this alternative pic as well ... again, great composition and exposure and I like the color but I liked the b&w effect better because of the contrast to the white negative space.

Thanks Karen -- I think I liked your submission better of the two.

Lennier,

These aren't outtakes, but based on some of yours, I thought you may like these photos:

In the museum where I took the photo I submitted I took a lot of photos. One of the ones I liked also very much was this. Do you think it's better than the one I submitted?

I also did some different postprocessing to my submitted photo. The result is this.
