I just signed up here and submitted to the Macro Challenge. Is it possible to respond to comments from voters? People take the time to comment and provide some helpful advice and I would like to post a general thank you and respond. Do I have to e-mail each of them?
Good site, and I really like the looks of the challenges so far. |

U could wait until the challenge is over and make a general response thanking everyone for their comments. it will come up ABOVE a blue seperator bar signifying that you made the comment after the challenge.
Otherwise, you'd just have to PM them all individually. |

| You would have to email or PM each and every one of the commenters. Unless you post (after voting is complete) a general thanks attached to that perticular photo. That makes it so that anyone looking through the challenge entries would be able to read it. |

Colin just remember the key word, ‘after the challenge is over’ because this is an anonymous site during a challenge. Good luck with your submission to the micro challenge, I hope you do well and welcome to DPC. |

Many Thanks folks...esp. for the very quick reponses. I have contributed to several other forums and tend to "watch" for a day or two after posting something to pick up on comments/suggestions/kicks in the shins. I just figure that when someone offers a suggestion then I should acknowledge them, and possibly improve the image for re-posting, or providing a link to a larger version. Can't do that in a Challenge but may work in a gallery. It'll take me a while to learn the ropes here...

This is not a hard-and-fast rule. You are allowed to PM anyone at anytime, should you feel the need to do so. Personally, I try to keep PMs 'till after the challenge, but occassionally, they've been known to flow.
