If I haven't learned anything else with this art form, I *have* learned that people think they can tell you what you can and cannot do with your camera, be it anything from a lowly phone to your finest professional DSLR.
And they feel perfectly in the right REGARDLESS of any facts, logic, reason, common sense, or.......LEGALITY.
So I pick my battles as I have no need to get physically assaulted, screamed at, arrested or detained by law enforcement, flight crew, security personnel, or similar individuals.
Just like copyright infringement, I make the choice to pursue a wrong depending on how important and how much likelihood I have in being able to prevail.
The population is generally woefully misinformed as to actual rights of photographers and photography and I'm not here to teach them.
Especially some chicken-sh*t, small town cop with a Napoleon complex. They're the worst for having their own spin on photogs.
I've really not yet been in a situation where it was worth risking life and liberty to prove I was in the right.
IMNSHO, c'est la vie.
