I know I’m supposed to remember this…. I’ve posted about it before. Sigh.

When we upload straight from our phone, if we shoot in one of them…. Can’t remember which…. Landscape or portrait… one of them looks right while viewing on said phone, but it’s sideways in real life on DPC.

ANY HELP?

Vertical pictures ("portrait" mode) sometimes do that. Depends on the camera and its settings though. Doesn't seem to be an Android problem (as far as I know) but it happens to iPhone people sometimes. Unless I have no idea what I'm talking about.

But it's definitely the vertical images that fall on their backs...

You're right about Android - I do not have this problem at all

Android can cause problems too.

The thumbnail for the image titled "Rusty" displays distorted in my portfolio and appeared the same way when the photo was in voting. It was shot on my Canon M50, but edited and uploaded from my Android phone.

Strangely it displays correctly in forum links
