After extensive discussion amongst ourselves, SC and Admin have decided that beginning with This Sunday night's challenge, all DPC Challenges will use the Minimal Editing Rules. We are doing this because, frankly, it's getting harder and harder to figure out what's legal and what isn't in the other rulesets, and the only one we have any true consensus on is the one where you can't edit your image at all.

We also believe this change will prompt an increase in membership once the word gets out that you don't need expensive editing software or any special post-processing skills to play at DPC.

Not doubting the amount of work behind the scenes, but out of curiosity, how cumbersome is it?

Could we allow images to be rotated by any amount instead of 90 degree increments?

It's about time!

When are we moving to the bird only challenges on Thursdays?

I have a feeling you can't do any of that. Straight out of the camera, ;level the playing field for everyone. Next thing you know, they will only allow paintings as those are much easier to decide on legality.

Then count me out. Since I just renewed, please do not process payment. Glad Wendy is happy but this is such a step backwards that I’m speechless.

I'm so chuffed about this new change that I've decided to buy DPC.

Between Covid and retirement brain I have no clue as to what the damn date is. I am now trying to extract foot from mouth.

I hear ya! I can’t believe it is the first of April . . . Hence, my absence from the March Free Study - who knew it would creep up this fast on me!? I can’t believe I missed it! Which is the ONLY reason I know today is the first LOL. :-)

Got me, too. Just hadn't had time to weigh in.

When I saw this thread this AM, I almost spit my coffee all over the computer! I had no idea Robert was going to perpetrate this, but I am still chuckling!

Haha! Better than that one year where site council took each one of our most humiliating entries and told us for marketing purposes (or something) it was going to be plastered everywhere.

This is FUNNY! :)
