My taste in music runs a little weird. In Country its Patty Loveless, Travis Tritt, and the old outlaws like Waylon, Willie, and Billy Joe Shaver with some Johnny Cash Sun Records rockabilly thrown in. No Faith, Shania, or the new crop of no talent pretty boys. Pop music leaves me cold except for " Picture" by Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow. Love the old Southern Rock bands

I'll love anything by Peter Gabriel, and almost anything by the Beastie Boys. I recently discovered Moxie Fruvous, and they blow my mind!

My husband introduced me to BT, and that music is incredible. I also like Moby and nearly anything by Paul Simon.

Several years ago, someone assigned the Sheryl Crow song "Every Day is a Winding Road" to me as my theme song, and it has continued to fit.

There's just so much good music out there!

Added one of my all time favorites.....Ray Charles!

Forgot some as I was rushed earlier. Also like Jon Randall, the Stones, most Bluegrass and Honky Tonk. Alan Jackson turned me off when he sold a million records with "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning". Nobody needs to turn big money off such an awful tragedy

I'm really into Third Day, a contemporary Christian group. Very modern, great stuff. If you've never heard them, you should check them out.

I like Carolyn Arrends, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, and Scott Westley Brown. These folks sing Christain music. Great for the soul!!!

I mainly listen to punk rock. Bands like NOFX, Bad Religion, Guttermouth, New Found Glory, and Rancid. On the slightly slower side I like Sublime, Eminem, Outkast and Bob Marley. Plus I listen to a lot of Techno.

I have heard of them and think they are great. Have you heard of T-bone? He is a rap singer. One of my oldest boys favorite singers. I like what he has to say in his songs.

I like artists that tend to step over a broad range of music, beacuse thats the way my tastes run. Some of my favorites here lately are Beck and Sheryl Crow. But the radio station I listen to is modern rock. (I used to listen to the "classic" rock station in town, but they run the same material over and over and over... enough is enough!)

I also enjoy Funk. Old funk, new funk, as long as its funk.

I love the old classics ... Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, Eagles, but you'll still catch me listening to Slayer, Metallica and Sepultura. There isn't much that I won't listen to. I'm sarting to get into jazz. The only thing I can't stand are those fat women opera signers that scream instead of sign.

Muddy Waters
Little Walter
Johnny Lee Hooker
Tool
Deftones
The Cure

Could go on, but these artists/bands are the ones that populate my collection the most :)

I like the contemporary christian stuff -- Ray Boltz, Michael w. Smith, Steven Curtis chapman, etc. I also like the Praise and Worship stuff (and it is a good thing since my husband plays and sings in a PW band). Third Day rocks, as does Mercy Me and Lincoln Brewster.

At any given time, though, you may find me listening to a variety of stuff. I can deal with some country, and I like classic rock. Being a music major (instrumental/education) I really like the instrumental classical stuff.

Opera, classical, beatles, simon & garfunkel, nine inch nails, marilyn manson, rachmaninov (for piano concertos), mozart for his operas, REM, Tori Amos, metallica, eminem etc, etc, etc. I'm a very big fan of individual songs as well. In fact I really like Beautiful by Christina Aguilera atm, as well as Nora Jones (who is growing on me a lot).
