I have been looking at Zen Folio, Pic Fair, Photo Shelter and Printfull

From what I am reading, basically, you set up your own store in their formats etc, then price out the prints and send direct to customers, they either add a mark up for customers or you pay a monthly/yearly fee.

Has anyone tried these and had any luck?

Or is there something or somewhere else anyone recommends.

I trust you lot more than I trust any other source really. And I really need some idea before I go an bounce this down a road I can not get out of.

Thank you

I've been using smugmug for my site (and not doing very much with it). But they have the ability to price the prints and have the customers order what they want. I get my prints from WHCC and love them, and I believe I can choose them for my printer for the sales on smugmug.

I never really tried it, though, because it's $360 a year to be able to price differently in different catalogs. Plus, I believe that the prices that the print shops charge are higher than when I order through them and deliver myself. Since I've never advertised, and don't know how to sell online, I didn't want to pay that much for the little that I'd sell.

Some people I know actually sell their photos through Etsy. Which basically is around .01 per listing on your Etsy account. From there, though, you'd still need to print them out and ship to them, or print at a print shop and have them drop ship for a price.

I'd be interested in hearing other options, as well!

I used to use Zenfolio when I was selling photos.
It was relatively easy to setup. The services and prints were good.

Once I got out of sports photography, where I made my money, I couldn't justify the cost anymore.
