I went to upload my entry and found that I'd missed the deadline.

Nice the way the slant of the outcrops mirrors (sic) the angle of the window frame.

I like this one a lot more than your entry, however it does not have a road or your vehicle visible in the frame, so it was probably the right call to discard it

I agree. I would rate this very highly in a blur challenge and even pretty well in a freestudy.

Uh oh, gonna buck the trend.
I feel that your entry is the "best" of the three. It's graphically exciting, dynamic, sharp, mysterious, and colorful. All of the former so much so that the vast darkness could be seen as framing, held in abeyance by the striking core of the image. Actually, when I first saw this photo my heart skipped a beat. It's my second favorite of the challenge; gave it a 9.
Next is the black and white of the woman crossing the street. It, too, is dynamic, the slow shutter animating the scene. Its visual intricacy, somewhat abstracted by the blur, invites exploration. The time of day and the weather are almost tangible. She seems to be causing the asphalt in the foreground to swirl, a strange, magical effect. I would also give this a 9, though both at 10 is also quite legitimate.
Thirdly, swept grass and walking person, who seems to be a woman. It's also a fine image, just not as captivating, in my opinion, as the other two. I would have given it a 6 or 7.
A terrific collection and a difficult choice. How's that for a problem.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. My entry was going back and forward between the blurry shot and my entry. It was the spirit of the challenge that made my decision.
