In my pretentious opinion, 100% your original entry. Your outtake image, due to the prominence of the two protruding architectural elements goes, kind of, thump, thump. Your entry has a pulled back view that is a flight of fancy, rhythmic, dynamic, delicate and entrancing. It invites the viewer to travel up the escalator and wander along the walkways. The trees, in their natural curving grace, harmonize with the more forced manmade design. It's not just a photograph, it's an adventure. |
That makes me feel a bit better about my low score. The only person I have to consult on challenge entries is my mother, and she preferred the outtake. |
