Shoot whatever you want, and title your image in the form of a question. Standard.

Ok, this is already posted as a challenge. I didn't even notice until I already suggested. Sorry! Great minds.

Yeah. What's up with that? I thought it was simple enough.

Oh well...

I've never really watched Jeopardy, although I have seen a few segments of it here and there. However, I "think" I got the concept. :-)

Well, it's very US specific. Never heard of Alex Trebek or seen Jeopardy, so wouldn't have a clue what it was supposed to be about. Didn't enter and won't vote

Obviously wasn't a winner in UK. It was only broadcast for 3 years on mainstream TV and that was 30 yrs ago :)

Ah well, looks as if it's not going to matter much whether you "got it" or not LOL

Me too -- exactly the same score ... if there's a 31-way tie do we all get both a brown and a blue?
11/23/2020 09:19:33 PM · #15
My first 4 votes were all 6s.
By 9 votes it had sunk to 5.6667 and I was a little disappointed.
At 11 votes it has crashed to 5.2727 Ouch!

Not being familiar with Jeopardy it's possible that I missed the point. But looking at other entries doesn't enlighten me at all.

Since I'm an avowed hater of descriptions, it pains me to say that the description was right on and quite helpful on this one.

Ask yourself:
Does your title ask a question?
Is the subject of your image the "answer" to that question?

By Jove, you've got it!!

I pretty much meet the challenge, but not getting much love also, after starting very high.

And I agree the description was very plain and simple, basically take a photo of the answer to your question, it’s not rocket science.

I blame Dominion lol.

Okay, another 5 for my 12th vote. My picture definitely answers my question, so...that means my picture sucks.

Nope. The challenge was the other way around:

"Title your entry with the question for which the image is the answer."

To me that is what Anita was saying. All the titles should be questions. The photo should "be" the answer. I see no difference between the way Anita phrased it and the quote you've given from the description, Mariuca. I see no "other way around" in terms of interpretation.

Those mean the same thing, even if phrased differently:

Photo = Answer

Title = Question
11/24/2020 06:21:07 PM · #22
I think I FINALLY see part of the confusion.

On Jeopardy, the QUESTIONS are phrased as statements and the contestants' ANSWERS must be phrased as questions or, no matter how accurate the information in them is, they are incorrect.

So on the show, everything is "the other way around" . . .

I will confess that the challenge description is poorly worded. It's actually a tough one to get right. Sigh...
