| Close second 3.81. I think people are judging as if it were edited illegally. If you feel this way about a photo please request a DQ rather than voting it down. |

If you think your image will be perceived as illegal, you can request an admin note. There should be a way to do that from the page with your photo.
Edit: Go to the page as if your going to vote on all the images. Down at the bottom is your image. Click on it, then click on the link to request the admin note, then follow the steps.

Of course.. My entry is my monthly "Wacky humor" entry.. and my title got cut off.. (oops, that pretty much says which one is mine.) Not that I care, anyone that even knows about me even a tiny bit will guess what entry mine is anyway. lol

all i have to say i grudge voting...i was doing pretty good on the first 10 votes almost all the same...after about an hour of voting...consitent downfall..i know i know it is still early but there was just an obvious mood of the voters showing through...
may i also add that my family needs you to vote my pics good this round, so i can quit taking out my frustrations on them....no pressure folks...just a suggestion :P |

I got to tell you I havn't entered this one I am still recovering and licking my wounds. However I.
'm still voting and commenting at will, so be patient I'l get to you all BTW I think there are a lot of nature shots but there is really not a lot of actual what I would call bizzareness about them,thats my 2c worth for what its worth. |

| Dang it. went from 5.333 to 5.64 in just a few votes, and then, with no additional or new votes, went straight back down to 5.46! bloody flopper flips! |

LOL. I got married and bought a house... (I know.. no excuse) I've been watching the challenges and voting intermittently. I've learned a lot from others photos here. I guess I've always had problems finding a subject for the challenge much less getting to the subject etc etc. But I'm sure now that I've submitted one (actually two, calendar) I'll be addicted for sure.

Congrats on your important breakthru and I hope your score in Bizarre Nature holds up for you. Nothing beats starting out on a positive note. Oh yes, and congrats on your marriage too |

But I expected it since I entered a photo that's sort of unconventional when it comes to DPC. Good news though, someone picked it as one of their favorites! That's my first :) |

i have not started entering yet...but I do not see a lot of BIZARRE nature shots in there...though there are some pure nature shots that are nice....
is it commmon for people to put anything in these open challenges? |

Too common. It's called stretching the topic, or shoehorning an entry into the challenge. Usually the voters punish the practice.

| I think bizarre is a strong word and a difficult photo to come by for most people. At best, my picture is a little unusual, but certainly not bizarre. In the end, I expect the highest votes will be on the most bizarre photo and hope mine is somewhere above par. |
