I am actually shocked that you have never had a ribbon before.

That being said, you where my Personal Red Ribbon, I really saw potential in this shot, and I am very pleased you did get top 3. It was a great shot and really showed potential. I am proud for you, as it was a good shot for this challenge.

My Original outtake was of the skyline of NYC at a park in Paterson NJ in Black and White but I cant post i'm not a member.

I hope you don't mind but I did a rough HDR edit of the outtake, including removing the person. If you object I'll remove it.

My colour processing skills aren't that good, but it does give an idea of what the photo would look like with a brighter foreground as suggested in some of the comments.
