This past month was wicked, work & travel wise. Hardly time to shoot, let alone do more than cursory check ins here and email. Hopefully, November will be better...

Anyway, I tried to shoot when I could, but didn't have as much opportunity as I had hoped to. Here are some of the shots I did manage to catch. As always, comments are welcome!

Enjoy,
Skip

WB skip. Hope you had a chance to get something into Oct Free Study. Perfect From-10 and October Sky are my favs of this bunch.

Well done, Skip. Perfect Form -10 would be a free study contender. I also like Before They Fall- preferably with a little more contrast and a straighter horizon. Both shots could use a little more saturation. Mercy Creek and Hitchin a Ride are also very good.

Welcome back Skip! Those are all such wonderful photos...as I would expect from you anyway! Light in the Forest is just beautiful...what an inspiring shot. I love the lighting on Mercy Creek, and October Sky is stunning. I also like the various DOF and techniques you've displayed. Thanks for sharing, and hope to see some ribbons for you soon! :o)

What beautiful colors. Your variety of shots is great. Several of these would have been top contenders in the Oct open! I enjoy your work so much.

Thank you all for your comments (especially the ones I got while I was out!) I have learned so much, and hopefully will have something to show for it in the coming future!

Unfortunately, I do have an October open entry, and it was a major mistake. I can't tell you what I did wrong without giving it away, but let me say this now: if you ever are going to attempt something really new, don't wait until the last minute...

Thanks again for all ya'll's help and guidance! It is truly appreciated!!!
