Hey everyone, I've noticed that several of the native filters in CC, especially under "render" (i.e. flames, lighting effects) are grayed out no matter what I do. Whether it's in 8 bit or 16 bit mode, I simply cannot use those effects.
Any ideas? |

The render flames filter requires you to first define a path before you can define the flame, but it's not greyed out for me before I do... Unless you have a filter, or locked layer as your active layer. It doesn't create a layer, but modifies the layer your on. Hope that's helpful. |

I just used one of the render options on some pork belly, and it worked great... ;-) |

wbanning - paths.... oy. Something else I need to learn to do.... Is that the same issue for the lighting effects? I have to define a path for it? |
