Somewhere in the 4s. I expect it to fall further. Both of my current challenges are doing very, very badly.

My shot isn't really "poor" enough (economically speaking) to appeal to people, I imagine.

I really think you guys shouldn't even look at your scores for the first 24 hours. All you will do is suffer great angst as the scores shift wildly up and down due to the low volume of votes cast.

lol, take a deep breath and relax. This is all virtual, its just for fun, if you think that your photo is good and meets the challenge well, then thats all that matters. Mine is in the 5's and will never reach a 6, it meets the challenge well and is an average photo, so i'm totally ok with that. Just don't worry about the voting and have fun :)

I worry because I submitted some of my photographs to a Gallery for approval in an upcoming showing...and if I look at the people of this site as a microcosm for the general viewing public, then I'm never going to a) get approved, or b) sell any of my work, because apparently it aint worth Sh*t.

:( my one is probally too nice for this challenge - not so poor, but the poorest I could find in my suburb, guess im lucky where I come from, not gonna score very nicely - probally last - ahh doesn't matter, itz all fun

I must agree on my first sweep through the images that the interpretation is wide and varied. Me i.m at about 4.5 which is a much better start than Schooldays, and I think I have a stronger image. however why worry its only a game of numbers. If only one other person sees something in one of my images I'm happy, Hell I dont think I'll get a ribbon any time but its the taking part that counts.

comon' complants already what the hell the challenge just started like 2hours ago i'll start complaning like somewheres around the last 2 or 3 days but give me a break it is 1:15am in chicago and i pitty the obsessive compulsive people who are woried now.+if your shot is crap or not i got done voting but i don't know many others who are even up in the states right now so relax life is good and your votes will rise when more people all across the wrold rise at DAY BREAK when the sun is up.
i'm at 5.0417 and i could just chew someones head off who is votin...[jk]

score is nothing special (i figured it should be doing better than my other current one, given this one is actually in focus and quite sharp) but i am impressed that in just over 4 hours, I've already garnered four comments. go you, you commenters! very impressed!
