i took this today and liked it with the dark clouds, when i try to lighten it, the clouds start to look fake. if anyone want to give this shot a fixing, i would like to see what you can do with it.

Just playing,
I illuminated the shadows and then burnt some detail back into the clouds so that it looks like the statue is radiating light.

By the way, did you notice you have a big speck of dust on the left side of you photo? (I removed it from the one I did for you)

it may be a bird because birds kept getting in my shot

used another layer which I brightened and blurred and made only opaque enough to glow through the original - which I had used levels on.
