One of the event I noticed that a photographer was taking photographer and reviewing it on the cell phone right there. I also noticed that the cell phone was connected to camera using a USB cable. I am wondering how was it working and how was he able to access photographs on cell phone?

I got a USB cable that I was able to connect to my 6D and Galaxy S7 and as soon as I connect to S7, lightroom pops up and shows all images and it has option to import not review. I tried using Canon software and it doesn't even recognize the phone and it keeps on saying connect using WIFI.

Any idea?

Yes I did try that but as far as I see that doesn't have option to connect via USB but only wifi.
