this photo was overexposed, changed to duo and then
burnt, wanted it to look macabre. dont think it worked.
any ideas on what to do with overexposure?

I think the act is macabre enought.

I don't think macabre is an apt description but I sure do like it.

managed to tone down the light areas by copying the red channel, blurring the copy+increasing contrast and using that copy as a layer mask for to curves adjustments...
