Sincerely appreciate all comments regarding my entry, relatively new to photography and computers, withdrew my first image a month ago because I couldn't get a image to upload larger than a thumbnail. See i"m already getting better. this image is three times the size of a thumbnail. Ha! Just wanted you all to know that I think this is a terrific sight with some highly talented artists and photographers and am looking forward to gaining knowledge and skill from just hanging out with the likes of the member's of this sight!!

I was going to start a positive thread today about the communication challenge. But since this one is already here, I'll say it here.

After the comments were left on my photo in this challenge. I went back and really looked hard at my attempt at editing. I took thier suggestions. Now the photo looks a 100% better. It's a good day when I learn something new!!

Thanks so much to those who responded so nicely to my entry and thread in the communication challenge! You've inspired me to work all day on getting a larger image posted for the upcoming open challenge. Have paid my dues and looking forward to some of those advanced editing challenges also. Though that might be awhile!!

Well I'm also new to this ste by about 4 challenges, the biggest challenge for me is to find an interpretation that is different, maybe a little quirky, and that people wwould heap praise on,. Well I'm still looking, you know some howmy communication didnt quite make it,. However I had a great time shooting for it,my model and I enjoyed a coffee and cake after, and I got a great Image for my LPSNZ submission.I might not hit the hot 100 in communication or other challenges but Im having a ball just being here.

I'm also a newbie here. The first picture I submitted was really cr*p. Communcation entry is doing much better, which I'm very happy about, because it means I can learn. My camera is not good enough for the high standards here on DPC so I'm not expecting much, but at least by participating in challenges I can learn a lot about composition, lighting, focus, subject presentation and lots more.

I had no idea the world of ohotography is sooooooooo big. So much to learn still. Thank you for every single comment. They are not many, but I appreciate each and every one a lot.

It is not easy to shoot according to the theme of the challenge, especially when my work is keeping me busy. I have better shots in my portfolio than the one I submitted so far, but I consider it pure luck. Now, I hope to become more thoughtful while shooting thanks to your comments and high standards set by the masters here.

I wondered when I originally saw this thread if this was your image:

I hope you'll post the larger version so we can properly appreciate it.

I gave that photo a 6. Had it been full sized I would have given it a 10 but it almost looks too good to be true...

I would love to see a full size version of this!
