Hi!

I'm looking for something to supplement the Phlearn tutorials I am watching. Do any of you have any experience with either of these books? Martin Evening's Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Photographers: A professional image editor's guide... or Elaine Weinmann's Photoshop CS6: Visual QuickStart Guide. Or would you recommend another book instead?

I already have Evening's book on Lightroom 4, which I find useful and comprehensive, but also a bit slow-moving and tedious. I've had a preview look at one of Scott Kelby's books on PS CS5 and it looks good and reviews say its helpful, but based on the preview of the book content Kelby's seem very basic. This would of course suit me as my skill level with the camera is still novice intermediate, but as I hopefully get more skilled with time I would like a book about PS that is both helpful now and as I advance

Any advice is much appreciated :)

Edited: wrote the wrong skill level. Hehe.. I'm obviously a beginner :)

I followed Martin's book closely while I learned to use PS CS6. I found it easy to follow, very informative, easy to learn new tools. The RAW workflow I use came from that book and has worked very well for me.
