Can someone tell how its done? Is it possible to edit this image in photoshop, so as to get a simple two-diamensional image, which results into 3D image.

The video shows you how it's done. The elongation makes the illusion very directional as you can see when the paper is rotated. This is the same technique that chalk artist uses to create his sidewalk illusions. It takes a lot of skill.

I don't undersrand the rest of your question. All photos are 2 dimentional, but can be made to appear 3D via processing.
