I am going out into the world to shoot anything and everything. I am going to shoot with a different perspective in mind. I am going to climb trees and crawl on the ground. Look at different lighting situations. Use shadows and try new compositions.

Who wants to join me? Let's see some awesome shots this week.

Be back later.
Soni

I'd say that about 60-70% of my shots are just that alone, on the ground or from high above. The perspective gives a very good wow factor to most normal photos.

It's all about perspective baby!

I've been trying to do that as of late... I crawled on the ground for this one. I also really like the grain and tone I came up with, which is unusual for me. I'm trying to expand my horizons as well.

This is my example

As you can see my focus is a bit off here. I still am learning how to use the 70-200mm lens. ugh!

This one I really like.

I got a few more but they didn't turn out like I wanted. Tomorrow I plan to use a different lens.

I'm wondering why the focus is off here, Sonja (I'm using the same lens). Did you take this at f 2.8 by chance?

I took it at 4.5. For some reason it would focus automaticly. It might have been bad lighting from being so late in the day. I had the shutter speed at 100, ISO 200.

A shot I took today. Do you like the soft focus or sharp focus?

09/30/2004 02:59:08 PM · #17
I like soft focus for this shot. It adds atmosphere (spelling?).

Please post this on DPC! One of the best photos I've seen in a very very long time. I absolutely love it!
