An a more serious note I always liked  ursula's work.
I don't know if she's still around but maybe an Ursula challenge would lure here back. |

I haven't been very active but have been lurking and learning at DPC since 2003. Just wanted to share a bunch of stylish photographers from my favorites list: (This is by far not a complete list...)

How's about "in the style of you" ... try to find an image that you believe defines (or should define) your style. 2 week challenge.

Obviously a free-study situation. But would challenge photogs to explore their mind and their portfolios.

We've had that one before. Signature Style. I think it may even have had the two week period as well. A good suggestion. |

Seriously though, I'd love an ursula challenge -- I don't remember one either… But I'd like to wait until there are flowers around. I would so enjoy trying some of her shots!!
Nixter's been done, I believe, but that's an awesome style.
We should all break out our top hats and do a Coley challenge. If I could be reincarnated as any photographer -- I'd want to be a Coley. :) |

We have done "In the Style of" for:
Heida Nixter librodo bspurgeon sherpet Art Roflmao, Natsumi Hayashi, jmritz jagar cutout odriew, Andreas Gursky, Peter Lik.
We have done "In the Spirit of":
 Bear_music docpjv
We have done "named" challenges like "Ansel Adams I, II, III, IV" and "Henri Cartier-Bresson" : I am sure there are others of these but I haven't remembered/found them yet.
