I haven't shot anything in a while since being bogged down with school and it being so cold outside. This weekend I took on a little project to break me out of the coldspell (pun intended).

I create these pics of my daughter.

The image was made from about 70 pics or so. I basically moved the flowers around my daughter and snapped a shot, brought them all into photoshop (almost crippled my pc...), lots of masking and refine masking, dropped onto a pretty backdrop.

I'm pretty happy with the end result, I definitely would do some things differently next time, like keeping my arm out of the pic if possible and go easy on the lighting (it got a bit hot in some spots) I may try this again with some other materials besides flowers. I'd also like to shoot my own backdrop or even try to shoot one on site if it ever warms up...

All in all it was a fun effort and reminded me why I chose this crazy hobby..

Enjoy!

Great work these came out real nice.
You did an excellent job on the flowers, I was trying to find some that you copied and just pasted around but they all look different.

I, too, think she must just love these - how very special she looks (I'm sure she is, too :) )

So lovely, and such a beautiful thing to do with your daughter. I'm sure she'll always treasure these shots as will you.
