I hope to have correctly follow all the steps...
A strange feeling and the reason: "Touch" is my first challenge.
I feel stupidly excited , quite sure to have choosen the worse photo.
I only hope to receive at least one comment.

Do you remember your first time ? ; -)

Welcome, Mambe. I totally remember my first time. Also very excited and nervous if I'd captured anything like what people were looking for. But trust me, after just this one challenge, you'll both feel like an old-timer, and you'll become addicted. :-) I got swept away by work recently, but have an entry again for Stopped Motion II (hovering around a 5.6) and for Touch (a risky one that people may or may not go for). But the entire experience is very educational, and will drive you to make better art.

Good luck with your entry!

Hi Mambe, can I join the stupidly excited club too? This isn't my first challenge but I'm as nervous as I was the first time! I'll make sure I check out your entry as soon as the voting has finished. If I havent already commented on it, I definately will. Good luck and have fun!

...ah yes...boy do I remember! The fear, the anxiety, the anticipation, the excitement...and then the realization after it was finished, and seeing the mediochre results of my energy - "So that's all there is to it?" ;o)

Thank God I've gotten better at it over time...or at least I think I have. Practice does makes closer-to-perfect! ;o)

Good luck Mambe with your first time... we voters will try to be gentle with you! And PTMan...it's like riding a bike...you'll be back in the swing of things in no time! :o)

Now don't go making me cry and all that... I'm at work!
That's very sweet of you. I know your photo won't be the worst one so get that $25 ready... and get your index finger in shape so you can update at any moment (usually about every 6 seconds for those of us who are really addicted)! :o)

I remember my first time very well. I somehow stumbled across the site and didn't really know much about it. I took a photo and entered it in a challenge and what do you know I came in 4th place. I remember thinking that this site may be too easy and a waste of my precious time. hahaha. I clearly had no idea what I was thinking. Now I am quite addicted and my average score is much lower than that first photo. :)
