Both excellent, Naz. I think I'd crop a little tighter on the second one so we can see the musician more.

Well I kinda like the huge space surrounding him on the second one so....
Thanks for the comment though c," )

I agree, the first is outstanding. However, the burning of the edges seems to have created a box around it. Can you make the burn a bit more gradient so you don't get a framed effect? (unless that was your objective.)

Great shots in any case!

actually there is no burning on the second one.
but there is dodging in the sky

The second one is by far my fav..The Darkening of the corners either in PS or by nature really keeps you contained in the photo. The negative space around the subject is really what the makes the photograph work for me. Your perspective is perfection. Also I think a tighter crop, and you would loose all the impact of the photo. Great job.
( i must pick it as one of my favorites)

The first one I could definitely see on an album cover. The second I think is a bit too dark.

first one is great. second would be uber-awesome if you straightened the horizon. i know thats the effect you were going for.. but it loses something with me. but the contrast of it is very striking.

Love the first one! Although I'll admit that they're all great!
Nice work and thanks for sharing...

Love the first shot - has all the earmarks of an album cover.

Well Done!

I really like the shot of the guitar in the chair, sans musician. Maybe not for his promo of course, but I really think it's a good photo. Really good for an album cover.

I love the first one as well. My only thought is that maybe it should be a tad bit closer if the intention is for it to be used to make the musician recognizable. He could be anyone from that distance.

Both really excellent pics, especially the first. Great sky in the background really adds mood. With the scenery / sky around the musician being so dramatic, a lot of emphasis is taken off of him though. Second pic I would crop out some of the sky, get a bit closer.
Great pics!!

I liked em both. The first one has a better overall feel, but the second one is really nicely done also. Great job on both!
