Unfortunately, we have had to disqualify the former second-place entry in "The Awwwww Effect" challenge for inability to provide a valid original. The image was shot with a D7000 Nikon and exported to an iPad for processing via the Snapseed tool, leaving the photographer with no valid original. It's important to keep a copy of your originals separate from your workflow if you shoot directly to JPG. Better yet is to shoot in RAW format, because these images are safe from inadvertent alteration.

Congratulations to our new ribboner and Honorable Mentions!

OH!!!

I was wondering why I got another comment from Janine.

Shame about that.

SO I was wondering how do i get the original to you from my ipad, I tried that before when I was travelling but the exif data never showed up, and now we're off again in 9 days and I'm afraid it might happen again?
