...well, for a single song actually... Whatever song, popularly known or not, that paints a vivid picture for you without being a cliche, or just strikes a chord you can translate into a photo. [a link to the tune- Youtube or ??? can usually provide that easy enough, would be crucial if it's an obscure song...]

We usually specify the ruleset - in this case it should be expert editing with an extra rule for allowing text.

Sounds good...

Oh...and open to freebie members (at the moment anyway)

It would be a shame considering that the suggestion is yours :)

Great idea! We had something similar almost 10 years ago

DPC Album Cover

I like this idea but it would be easier to do with the addition of allowing text. It would be great if that could be added. Album covers usually have text.

Almost 7 years ago: DPL Album cover. Text was allowed.

Yes but it doesn't say text is allowed on this challenge

Under the current rules you can print out some text, take a picture of it (high-contrast recommended!), delete the background, and paste the remaining text onto your image.

It is also still *possible* (but not certain) that the special rule allowing text to be entered directly will be added later ... keep your fingers crossed and save your text file ... :-)

I too thought it strange that text wasn't allowed. Because you could call just about anything and album cover, I think that they should rename this challenge to "Free Study" with song/album title. Real or fictitious.

Not exactly what I had in mind, but fun none the less... Tis your call (and open to freebies like me!) Odd way too add text around the rules against using text...when the T button is just sitting there... Maybe I'll spell something out in feathers or fingered into dust somewhere... Got me thinking anyway and that's half the battle.
