The advice you guys have given has steered my
watch photography in a better direction.
Tomorrow, I'll move on to newer - more challenging
timepieces. But before this day is out, I'd like to share
with you my last attempt of the black-faced Ravel - (scroll to end)

BTW, try a square crop. :D
Also, you've lost a bit of contrast in the watch face (reflection/washout)... Try selecting just the face and increasing contrast.
