(pets and abandoned places)... the resulting images might look like this (if I was really, really lucky).

Some explanations here.

thanks. loved the pygmy owl. wonderful how a quiet and almost crazy/inspired passion can cut to the chase, nothing de trop.

Stomping his foot, LOL! I don't know if I can choose one, but the critter peeking up through the hole in the floor...

Yes, if you read the explanations on the other site, this guy spent hours waiting for his subjects to show up. I also find the "staging" gorgeously natural and unforced nor "de trop" :-) Fabulous stuff.

Enchanting. I wonder if the house once belonged to Snow Wight?

On his website, go to Image #26 - those two squirrels in silhouette are priceless!
Great site, glad you posted it.

I love number 15 with the squirel on the door! They are amazing. I can see myself trying something like this (not nearly as good) but...I would wait and wait and wait, then a little critter would show up and I'd jump, the little guy would run away, I'd laugh at myself miss the shot and then repeat the whole process!!

Indeed! Most NatGeo 'togs talk about the endless hours of waiting for the shot. I wonder how many of us have that patience and dedication. Not to mention such an artistic eye!
