Well -- mine is sure broken...

(ok, it was a really lousy title, but I didn't think the photo was that lousy)

About the score that I was expecting . . . but I wasn't expecting a comment so soon!

Ouch 4 fours in a row, and I was at

5 votes 7.40

Now nowhere near that, but I did think mine would be loved or hated!

At least it meets the challenge!!!

I thought my 5.55 was so bad... probably I'll get a ribbon :)

Some really very nice "Bokeh" images in this challenge. Also quite a few where the bokeh looks as if it's not natural but digitally manipulated.

You have rated 87 of 87 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 43 images (49%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.5517.

Ehh... Last minute entry. Guess I need to stop doing those. Lol

The rotters have arrived. After a nice steady slowly climbing score of 7.1 after 10 votes the last 2 votes dropped me to 6.6 for 12 votes and from here on it will be the same old story again that I have grown so weary of here on DPC lately namely the slow continued decline of one's score the longer the voting phase goes on. It would be nice if for once the opposite would be the case. I will be lucky if it manages to just scrape home with a 6 by the end of voting.

Edited for spelling errors.

Maybe this will be a new PW for me?
Ha

I liked the idea... Had it come earlier, I would have had time to actually TRY for it. But, since it came to me about 2 hours prior to the deadline, I made a (failing) attempt.

I have to disagree here based on the voting on several of my entries over the last few months. My pattern seems to be either a mediocre or rather decent start the first few hours after voting starts, then a general beat down for a day, then a fairly slow and steady rise until voting ends. Of course if the entry is doing exceptionally well there is the seemingly inevitable slight decline on the final day of voting.

Not necessarily. I go through and do an "instant vote". I skim through the photos and judge based on first appearance. Then, I go back through and usually bump scores up... I take a longer, more in depth look.

For example, on my first pass through, I might give an image a 5. Then, after further review, I may bump it to a 7 or higher. It all depends on what I see my second go around.

There have been times when I've bumped a photo more than once.

Now, I know not everyone does this, but I do know some people make an initial vote, then go back and bump it up later. :)

Commented on 33 images and my score went up a bit.
I going to try and comment on close to half if I have the time.
