It has been a long time I didn't stick my nose to forums, but I just can't stay quite in this challenge because of its nature and comparing to my entry. I kept myself out for a while, thought I (my work) would get some respect with this one... say ain't so!!!
I don't know what's going on, if DPC got way too good for my abilities and there is no enhancing room for me anymore, or people just gone way too dumb here (don't start spitting yet, my vote goes for the first option due to respect I have for some of you)
...I can't say I won't enter any images anymore, I might from time to time, however this website started be a huge discouragement for me since few years back... it's difficult to be here, just because have an account makes me stop by, less and less time!
4.3 vote, what I thought would be at least 7.2

I found it's best to not try to figure out what score you will end up with, that way you won't be disappointed.
I for one don't want this pic to be on my profile page, (no offence to cutout) so whatever I end up with 'ce la vie' I entered for the fun of it, and don't particularly love my entry nor do I hate it though! |

God, I'd LOVE for mine to be my new PB. As it is, it's looking like this very well may 'own' the equipment page. Which, of course, I'm thrilled with - largely all because I did this with a ten year old $10 camera (including shipping).. :D

I didn't try to copy but rather be inspired by his style. His art is not only photography.
My pics are not art but I tried to breathe in a bit of his presence

I do believe that is a breach of the rules, posting the title of your photo.. but anyways, if you look at past winners of 'in the the style of.....challenges' you will normally find that the photo's that won the ribbon's were not 'entirely' indicative of that photographers style, but just the best photos of the lot, IMHO!
