I like the new Flickr look. Although it seems they reset all the right clock security features -_-

I'm annoyed at the new activity view, realy hard to find what I'm interested in. But at least the old view is still available.

But with 1TB of free space I can use this as an online drive. Thats the best feature IMO

Is there a way to move stuff around? Seems odd that the "Activity" section that shows if someone has commented or faved your stuff is buried in the photos.

Only ONE terabyte? Ain't nobody got time fo dat.

In related news, DPC has just been listed on the internet's historic registry and has been grandfathered out of the requirement to replace the lead paint.

Is that why the paint tastes so good around here?

Yes, but...

It's too cluttered now, and it's still broken.

1TB, I like that, not a bad backup option for free.

Yeah, my iMac is down to 5Gb free space, so I've resurrected my flickr account for this purpose (i.e. 1Tb of backup space)

Thanks for the info!

I have a Pro account which expires September 2014. Why on earth, dear Mr Flickr, would I want to switch to the free account which has ads, when I've paid for ad free and unlimited storage? No logic whatsoever.

ETA: I got a message to say would I like to transfer to a free account. Doh.

And how do you decide what content you see in your "home" page? I don't want to see every picture from my contacts. My friends, yes, but not my contacts. The visual outlook is better, but if I can't control what I see then...

I fully agree, although my contacts are making some very nice photos :) Now if only the submission by email would work again, I would be (a little) happy.

The Flickr app for iPhone is pretty good too, plus it does that thing where you can take a photo within the app, edit it, apply grotesque filters, and upload it to your flickr sets all very easily.

And some neat photo browsing options like 'popular' and 'nearby' that looks for photos taken close to your current location.

As far as I know there's also an Android version. So that's a good combination, a photo app on your phone or tablet, with 1Tb of space to share your (full size) portfolio.

Well, I figured my problem out. I think it's just that I haven't received a comment on my flickr photos since that long ago. If anyone had any interest in my photos that section would be higher in the list?

I just discovered that if you click "edit" at the top left of the page, you get the old look back...

Where? I don't see a click-able "edit" thingy.

Until you go to another page, then it reverts.
